Sunday, 27 July 2014 10:00am to 12:00pm Aims of the project: Devonport City Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Clayton Reserve. This location is important because it is habitat for the protected species, Engaeus granulatus (Central North burrowing crayfish). We are aiming to regenerate the area,increase biodiversity and provide increased habitat in the new reserve . Organisation: Devonport City Council Site Address: 39 Clayton Drive Devonport Tas 7310 Nearest Cross Street: Sheffield Road Directions: Turn into Clayton Drive off Sheffield Road Spreyton and proceed to second creek and the gate will be open. Suitable for Children: Yes Accessible for disabled: Yes Notes about the day for Volunteers: Park just inside gate off the gravel road and walk to site. Disabled may be driven to site in 4x4. The following will be provided: Tools and equipment for planting, Drinking water, BBQ Activities that will take place on the day:
